Quick peek on the morning bright side and a heartening story about people living UP to expectations from one of our favorite local bloggers. Take a look:
We Really Can Find Honorable People Today
I felt deflated on November 8, 2016. I has expected more out of people in the election. I was naive. People hadn't changed, Really, it was just that power shifted and anger changed. Then, in 2017, the Missouri Legislature screwed Missouri workers by making it harder for workers who have been victim to unlawful discrimination to get justice.
i usually assume the best of people, then am usually wrong. doesn't matter if they were ever a victim, doesn't matter if they voted for trump or hillary. Giving is not human nature even if a lawyer says it, self satisfaction is.

ReplyDeleteHonorable People?
ReplyDeleteLOL in KCMO?
There are good people out there. Giving up on all of humanity makes living not worth it. It's not always fun but I'm glad to see people who go out there looking for the best in people.
ReplyDeleteglad to hear that MO Repubs have cut back somewhat on Democrat Affirmative Action scams..
ReplyDeleteDemocrat greedy weasel trial lawyers ticked off...good!

ReplyDeleteSome of them even get into Politics!
You'll just never find an (R) after their names!
Still complaining about the 2016 election? Really?
ReplyDeleteTrump is America's 1st Jewish President,
moved the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem and declared it's recognition as capital of Israel,
scrapped the Iran Nuclear Deal,
has a tight personal bond with Prime Minister Netanyahu,
has pledged to defend Israel,
supports the Greater Israel Project,
his daughter and son-in-law are Orthodox and have offices in the White House,
his 2 adult sons and other daughter married or are in relationships with a Jewish partner,
has publicly compared himself to King Cyrus, etc.
...and yet she STILL complains.
^^^^ It'll be nice to have an American President in 2021!
ReplyDelete"Frankly, I had expected more people to have opinions in lockstep with mine. When they didn't, I lost faith in humanity."
ReplyDeleteonly thing in your town i have experienced that makes life worth living is a good thunderstorm.
