  1. Mediocre public school districts? KCPS has a long way to go before they are mediocre. It’s the worst school district in the country.

  3. I and other people want accountability for the already exorbitant cost of over $19,000 dollars per student it costs the taxpayers to keep these hoodrats in school now, they should dissolve the school district and make all of them private schools because you can get 100 times the education for half the cost of kcps.

They can’t prove why it’s so expensive now let alone the need for more money.

  5. None of the decent kids that live in KC go to public schools in KC. KC public schools take most of our tax dollars and they are going to say reduced assessments will be devastating?????? That's sick they turn out kids that can't even read write or count change. What the F are they doing with the money???? KC schools are nothing but a bunch of affirmative action black kids with illiterate parents like Byrons. FACT

  6. How can it be devastating when they haven't gotten the money yet!

“KCPS contributions accounted for $285,810 — more than half Ebert's $450,000 fee.” Sounds like quid pro quo to me, LISTEN, THIS IS WHAT YOU'RE GONNA DO FOR US, we’re gonna need you to raise everybody's taxes so we can get $20,000,000 and as a bonus we will give you nearly a half million dollars for your troubles, got it?

  7. After listening to many many focus groups we have determined that bribery sounds better than quid pro quo!

  10. We waste too many tax dollars on schools when our students continue to fall behind other nations on earth.

  11. $19,000 a child ? With that much money spent per kid the KCPS should have the best of everything. They should have people wanting to live here to get their kids in our schools. Yet, they turn out some of the most illiterate kids ever. Shameful ! More money won't fix what is essentially a black "family" problem. They say that social workers and other support staff will be cut. Who cares ? They haven't made a dent in the problems so far.
