Celebrate New KCK American Royal Nowhere

Here's a peek at the new spot dedicated to drinking and pigging out in the middle of a field . . . Kansas will build it but it's uncertain if they'll attract enough people to make it work given that they're feeding on KCMO leftovers. Read more:

American Royal Secures The Land For Its New Home In Kansas City, Kansas

The American Royal has secured the 115 acres in Kansas City, Kansas, where it plans to build its new $200 million home, the nonprofit announced Tuesday. The news comes more than three years after the agriculture education and competition organization announced that it planned to relocate from its longtime home in the West Bottoms to the area northwest of Kansas Speedway near Legends Outlets Kansas City.

They are just now securing the land? This was supposedly done by Cliff three years ago along with most of the other fundraising. Sly and company did the right thing on this one, and I never thought I would say that. Good riddance.

Most long-time Cerner associates know the main thing Cliff succeeded at was staying on Neal's good side. Now Neal is dead and Cerner is no longer a supporter of the AR. The Barbecue has less teams then when the event was in the West Bottoms. As Neal would say, tick tock...
