Bike/Walk KC Calls Deadly Crash Involving Pedestrian 'Unacceptable Violence' Despite Driver Cooperation With Police

Local news reports that "the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and spoke with investigators. He was released without a citation or charges, pending further investigation."

This town's most prolific cycling/pedestrian activists view the incident from a more critical perspective . . .

“This is the second crash involving a pedestrian we’ve seen in as many weeks,” noted BikeWalkKC policy manager Michael Kelley. “We can’t allow our most vulnerable road users to continue to experience this level of violence because it’s unacceptable.”

And these are the clowns who actually want KCMO taxpayers to support a $350 million bicycle plan?

Ever notice that the only time Bike/Walk KC concerns itself with Pedestrians is when they can garner some publicity from them?
