Kansas City suffered a shockingly violent summer. As July slid into August, the city recorded nine murders in fourteen days. One of those victims was 25-year-old Erin Langhofer. On Aug. 2, Erin attended First Fridays in the Crossroads Arts District.

  3. Focus needed to be taken away from Crossroads and drawn to the private sectors like City Market. All they had to do is mash the food trucks together and not provide lighting in the most dense populated area of First Friday and let the Magic Hand Of The Market do what it does since the first steamboat arrived.
