Great behind the scenes look at the mechanics of a sketchy deal wherein Kansas City taxpayers fund the feds and a sketchy public-private eco-devo group. Take a look:
USDA Deal Is Great for Port KC, Less Great for KC Taxpayers
The announcement that the USDA has chosen a location in Kansas City, Missouri was met with satisfaction by political leaders in Missouri. Port KC, the Kansas City port authority, also seems satisfied-and it stands to make a killing. The USDA office is moving into 805 Pennsylvania, a piece of land designated an Advanced Industrial Manufacturing (AIM) Zone by Port KC.
What a shitty location to commute to.
ReplyDeleteThe taxpayers are always fulfilling city halls promises, that’s all we are to them is a money source.
ReplyDeleteKempers and Kaufmans run this dirty little city. They get their cut or there's no deal to be had.
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone think Port KC really gives a shit about KCMO taxpayers.
