NKC HATES BIKE LANES!!!

A reminder that bully advocacy planned to crowd high pressure public meetings doesn't work over the long run when RESIDENT COMPLAINTS continue to mount and decry the dangerous road conditions.

Checkit:

NKC council considering short-term adjustments to Armour Rd.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The city council for North Kansas City, Missouri, has considered short-term adjustments for the project. The city installed new bike lanes and crews cut down the number of travel lanes on Armour Road between Ozark and Fayette Streets in an effort to make the thoroughfare a better road for walkers, bikers and drivers alike.

  2. Remove the bike lanes from BENTON BLVD. ALL BOULEVARDS. They are underused and waste of taxpayer resources. Poor people dont ride bikes... the push grocery carts and those dont need to be on the street.

  3. Nkc took the busiest street they had, cut it down to one lane both ways and somehow that was a smart idea?

What idiots decided that? And what the hell has gotten into these dimwit run cities anyway, they have made terrible decisions one after the other, are these people that damn dumb???

  4. Not just NKC, everybody hates bikes lanes, with the exception of all the faggot bikers. All cars should have a biker for a hood ornament.

  5. North Kansas City, Missouri isn't the only location with poorly designed bicycle lanes. How many total idiots did it take to design bike lanes, in the middle of the road, near Long View Lake. A design that is the epitome of extreme stupidity.

  6. NKC had better act BEFORE June of next year!
That is, if any of the idiots on the Council want to stay in office.

  7. Just didn’t understand the need in the first place. NKC is and was great to bike around in before. If they swept or cleaned the debris and broken glass and litter from the pedestrian/bike lane on the heart of America bridge that would be a lot more meaningful help to NKC cyclists and not needlessly vex motorists nor gouge tax payers. -Radish

  8. Still keeping my unofficial count, still don't claim its scientific, but since the bike lanes went in, and based of driving in NKC four or five times a day...

Bicycle riders seen in NKC - now up to 9,
Bicycle riders seen in the Bike Lanes - still at ONE!
(and for only one block, Jasper to Knox)
