Edgemoor: KCI redevelopment is on budget, ahead of schedule - Kansas City Business Journal

The $1.5 billion single-terminal project at Kansas City International Airport is on budget and ahead of schedule, according to its developer. Edgemoor Infrastructure & Real Estate LLC moved up the timeline to the first two weeks of March 2023, at the request of the city, which asked to have it completed ahead of the 2023 NFL Draft, which will be held that April near Union Station in Kansas City.

  1. Yep, and the images they’re offering now wont look anything like the actual built project.

  2. More hype and press releases that are treated as "news" by the local media.
Especially the rah rah from the Biz Journal about "development".
So far most of the buildings have been torn down and part of the foundation has been poured.
All on time and on budget.
But really not much of anything has happened.
And "Change Order One" is still in the future.
    If you're guessing $2.4 billion, you're LOW.
