  2. To be fair, the article doesn't really have much to do with the trade war we're currently in. It's just an article about wheat grown in KS and farmers trying to expand exports in a lot of countries they're already in. Also talks about who the competitors are. Not really much mention of China.

If Kansas farmers behaved like OPEC, they'd be living in mansions, driving Rolls Royce, and acquiring nuclear weapons to protect their turf!!!

  4. ^^^ Nah, they'd be living in brand new houses built on extremely low-interest FDA Loans subsidized by taxpayers, driving a Ford F-150 Crew Cab (never more than two years old), buying extremely expensive Farm Machinery (same subsidized loans) to work the small amount of acreage they haven't "soil banked", and depending on the Nuclear Weapons that the rest of us have paid for.

  5. ^^^ Oh, and spending a lot of time bitching about how badly Farmers are treated in this Country.

  6. The price goes down when they is too much wheat. Farmers know that. When too much is harvested it really drives the price down. But it's the cheapest and easiest crop to plant so the Farmers load up more acres every year of it hoping the next state over has a drought and their crops all die.

  7. ^^Well sorta, Kansas grows a lot of wheat because it's more inclined to drier climates or less rain. Hence, you don't see a lot of corn in Kansas. Corn requires much more water.

  8. Stupid dave, is there ever a comment thread you won't comment on? Maybe stop posting? Your posts are awful, just awful. You're really dumb.

  9. ^^Actually he is right but what do you know other than to be a cyberbully idiot? Because of low prices due, in part, to increased world production, the number of acres of winter wheat varieties grown in the U.S. is the lowest in 99 years. Reduced profitability is driving farmers out or leading them to plant more lucrative row crops such as corn or sorghum. Because of low prices due, in part, to increased world production, the number of acres of winter wheat varieties grown in the U.S. is the lowest in 99 years. Five years ago, when crop prices were at records, it was easy to make money growing wheat – or any agriculture commodity, for that matter. It was so easy, in fact, it’s led to the current conundrum facing U.S. farmers. Prices got too high. The country had $7 corn, $18 beans, and $10 wheat. The rest of the world figured out real quickly that they could make money, so now the world is awash in grain.

So you see Mr.Jackoff, you're the idiot here not Dave.

  11. The Trump administration doesn't give a shit about dumb farmers and mocks them.

"I had a farmer tell me this in Pennsylvania," Perdue told an audience of thousands of farmers gathered in a barn near Morgan, Minnesota.

"What do you call two farmers in a basement? A whine cellar."

    Hiiiiilarious.
