Kansas City Star Still Blaming Missouri Republics For Rising Homicide Count

A lame and leftover strategy from the last City Hall administration that denied personal responsibility and truly FAILS to understand the vast proliferation of guns across the nation.

Take a look at the headline tease with the rest of this garbage safely hidden behind the paywall:

Three more murders in Kansas City - are Missouri leaders finally ready to tackle guns?

In the space of a few hours Wednesday, three more people died from gun violence in Kansas City. The shootings, after a few weeks of relative peace, remind us that bloodshed still curses our community. The effort to reduce murders in Kansas City can never really end.

  4. Since the republicans in Jeff city represent me, you are saying that I am to blame for the yearly murder after murder in Kansas City
So please explain to me how I am responsible for the thousands of parents who raised a generation of thugs

  5. Yeah, cause whenever black gangbangers head out into the night, the first thing they do, is check with each other to see if carrying their stolen guns is illegal or not.

    Shut the fuck up.

  6. Politicians and the media have the technology to obtain and report the obvious statistics complete with colored charts and graphs that would pinpoint who, where and why this occurs. The source of the problem is so easily identified but never to be acknowledged. Attention and resources must be concerntrated on the source and not wasted on the rest of the law abiding citizens. No doctor would try to treat a cancer that could not be identified, located and discussed openly. Certainly not in fear the cancer would object.

  7. "No one should expect the Republican-controlled Missouri legislature to suddenly embrace commonsense, statewide gun rules."

No one should expect the leftist controlled Kansas City Star to suddenly pay attention to the Missouri Constitution, Article 1, Section 23:

"That the right of every citizen to keep and bear arms, ammunition, and accessories typical to the normal function of such arms, in defense of his home, person, family and property, or when lawfully summoned in aid of the civil power, shall not be questioned. The rights guaranteed by this section shall be unalienable. Any restriction on these rights shall be subject to strict scrutiny and the state of Missouri shall be obligated to uphold these rights and shall under no circumstances decline to protect against their infringement. Nothing in this section shall be construed to prevent the general assembly from enacting general laws which limit the rights of convicted violent felons or those duly adjudged mentally infirm by a court of competent jurisdiction."

  8. Well there you go. The Kansas City Star can't have you bringing facts into the debate. That kind of thing is frowned upon, they will certainly berate and blame the messenger. How dare you!

  9. How does the Star remain in business? I cannot believe folks still subscribe to that rag, and their on offering is ridiculously expensive.

In addition to the above, their product is terrible.

The reporters know the reason the crime rate is high, They just don't want to report the real reason .And the information is out there. Its stolen guns .gangs drugs Dealers fighting over territory.
