KC Pet Project announced Friday it's teaming up with Patrick Mahomes' 15 and the Mahomies Foundation to find homes for deserving pets this weekend. During the Tackle Pet Homelessness event Friday through Sunday, dogs that are 40 pounds or heavier can be adopted for $40.
