Parents call on Platte County School District to do more to discourage racism, hate speech

PLATTE COUNTY, MO (KCTV) -- Some Platte County parents say enough is enough and are calling on the school district to take a hard look at its policies, which they say don't go far enough to discourage hate speech and racism.

  7. Tempest in a teapot. One student out of hundreds or thousands posted something apparently racist in a public forum, and this black parent takes it as proof that racism is lurking behind every window and door? Absurd.
