Country Clubs if the members only knew what went on in those kitchens and behind closed doors. Most would crap their pants if that fine pastry they are raving about was made known to them as coming from Sam's Club. Are all the veggies washed before using? Nope they sure ain't. That Christmas Party buffet they all marvel at how great it was and looked some of the items on it were made 4 and 5 days before. People on airline trips get fresher food that what country clubs around here hash out a good part of the time. Leftover food from events is frozen and used again for a later events. Open containers of cooked or prepared food sitting on the floor in pots as staff walk along beside coming in from back door areas where wind blows along the floor stirring up dust and dirt. One local country club had such fine dining the cockroaches where falling from the ceiling to join you in eating it. No man that's the truth, the place had to shut down for several days to deal with it. Cracks me up these people paying huge amounts of money thinking they are getting the best of the best and Mi Ranchito and Taco Bell are serving up better food.

  6. 9:46 you just can't stand it when someone speaks the truth around here. What that person said is basically dead on as I saw it when working at a club during high school. I will add my own mother made me quit working there after I shared a incident about a GM after another employee caught him peeking around the corner of the ladies locker room. The GM claimed to be checking on some kids who were being disruptive. She went on in to get her things out of a locker and there was just one girl in there. That guy was a real creep. Heard later on they finally fired him and wondered what he did. Clubs around here are nothing social centers for those who have it and those who don't but want you to think they do. The ones that didn't were always a blast to slap with an extra charge just to watch them squirm.
