This bit of hype is kinda like the "Coffee is for Closers" speech from 90s classic Glengary Glen Ross only this time the party is funded by taxpayers and mostly contains affirmations instead of insults along with some informative stats intended to build up local confidence in the startup scene . . . The global guru of commercial real estate, Spencer Levy, lived up to his reputation when he addressed the record audience at the Downtown KC Office Summit. on Sept. 25 at The Gallery event space in the Power & Light District. And, he has the experience and travel portfolio to support his guru cred.

Give me a break the guy is a lobbyist. Of course he's going to tell you what you want to hear that's how he makes money. BTW We don't a have light rail system.

But this clown probably heard from some Cordish executives how easily the rubes in KCMO are to sell a bill of goods to.
Power and Light District baby!
And there are lots more suckers in the Downtown Council.
But be sure to stop by 12th and Oak and see if you can pick up a quick check.
KCMO has a national reputation.
But it isn't what you'd hope.
