Woman walking dog hit, killed on Highway 350 near 63rd Street, police say
A 50-year-old woman walking a dog was hit and killed Wednesday evening on northbound Missouri 350 near 63rd Street, Kansas City police said.Officers were called at 6:12 p.m. to the area.Accident investigators said the woman and the dog were both killed.The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with police.Police said the woman who was hit was wearing dark clothing and may have walked out into traffic.
Meth and owning a dog is bad for the dog.
