Police offer parents a peek at thug life signs to look for, dangers of gang activity and potential solutions for that hope to help mostly single moms forced to turn to public resources amid NEXTGEN drama from youngsters working their way into the prison industrial complex. Take a look:

KCPD gang unit creates new guide for parents

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department's Gang Intelligence Squad works to identify and eliminate groups involved in gang activity and violent crime. Now, the unit has created a special guide for parents. The focuses on gang recognition and prevention, as well as training for Kansas City Public Schools staff, student body and parents.
