Tech In-House Lawyers Meet With Lawmaker on Diversity & Inclusion Efforts | Corporate Counsel

The trend of diversity is spreading, and earlier this week Rep. Emanuel Cleaver, D-Missouri, held a panel of in-house counsel from tech companies to learn more about what they do to foster diversity and inclusion.

  1. Anytime someone is "talking diversity" they're just killing time and have no idea what they're doing at their job

  2. Any credibility this guy may have had vanished with his local KC politics.

The very best thing for KC would be for him to retire.

  5. Affirmative Action, I am sure, has given us a lot of engineers and doctors.

I don't want to drive the cars they produce, live in the buildings they build or have them diagnose my illness.

Until the government gets out of pretending that we are all created equal and dictating that skin color counts for more than IQ, I will never let a minority be my professional.

When the government gets out of the Racist, Hate Whitey Quota business, I will embrace the entire gamut of Professionals no matter what the color of the Professional. Until then, it's White people ONLY.

    Oops you Forgot

Plaza curfew / don't make the black kids angry and "Pizza for street thugs"

Fucking traffic signals on what is now an
interstate highway, to ''preserve the black
    neighborhoods" or some such shit.
(Tranlation: "This way we get easy prey and make victims out
    of innocent mostly white people"

    {Why don't they spend those same MLK Blvd dollars on removing those traffic lights & building overpasses?}

He probably paid up to $30 for his "Reverend Credentials"
    (I paid $25 in 1977 for mine)

If Kansas City had a BIGGEST KC PHONY OF ALL TIME contest there's no way he could lose.

  15. You can always tell when Byron has spent his welfare check and is out of money. That’s when he gets on here and hates on normal white people. He’s mad because the government won’t pay him enough for defrauding them.

  16. Where was that loser cleavers diversity and inclusion on the day of the open to the public meeting in a church to discuss mlk blvd?

The cleave is a racist rat that is out of touch with reality.

  17. Never saw this back in the 90's. It was when the tech "bros" came onto the scene in the 2000's with their buggy software and social media crap that diversity became an issue.

  18. Once again a big thank you to Tony for keeping these folks at home posting inanities and away from society.

  19. "Diversity and inclusion" = hiring quotas. Still illegal -discrimination on the basis of race.
