Developer Proposes Big Affordable Housing Project Near Downtown
Maxus Properties plans to redevelop 11 deteriorated apartment buildings along The Paseo just east of downtown into 197 affordable apartments. The $18.5 million Jazz Hill Apartments project is intended to provide affordable housing and a social service network to support its residents, particularly veterans.
How many times can they remodel and rebrand these apartments? I want to know who’s getting the kickbacks on this project?
