Kansas City Broke 2019 Pothole Promises

At the outset of the year, before elections we have politicos making a great deal of promises about fixing our streets . . . Now most of their energy has been directed toward social justice causes and boosting their social media reputations.

Potholes in Kansas City won't all be filled before new ones form this winter

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Crews with Kansas City's public works department say they likely won't get hundreds of potholes from last winter filled before you start seeing new ones this winter. Maggie Green with Kansas City Public Works said crews have already filled nearly 100,000 potholes this year.

No shit . And readers wont get their taxes in on time, their bills paid, their lawn picked up this year, their house painted ( needed last 21 years ) , their trash out of their lawn or their 5 project cars in various stage of rust via fantasy plans of "doing".

Sadly, this is not a surprise. The city is bigger than its ability to take care of it. Although, my cynical side says this is just a way to force everyone to ride the trolly.
