Kansas City Bread & Butter Busted

A leftover news link from the BEST AND BRIGHTEST of our blog community inspires a quick taboo thought about the inappropriate lustrous legacy of an old school cinema classic which contradicts the current #MeToo ethos.

I.E. Your butter joke is better . . . And here's the sad news of another local company taking their financial licks the hard way:

  1. Funny how so many Restaurants manage to gout of business in such a "Great Eating Town" , isn't it?

All it seems to take is crappy food with high prices and poor service, and these incredibly original Chef-driven concepts somehow manage to fail regularly, while more traditional joints go on year after year.

  4. 8:53 - A lot of "original" or local restaurants go out of business because they don't have a national corporate presence to "float" them as they make their way to profitability. Restaurants are high start up cost ventures that take can some serious time to start breaking even.

These guys had, what appears to be, a good number of restaurants and were started some time ago so in this case there was probably some mismanagement, but who knows. I went to Graham and Dunne a couple times and it was good but was expensive and I'm sure the rent down there is not cheap.
