JACKSON COUNTY QUESTION: WHY SHOULD COURTHOUSE PAY TROY SCHULTE TO DO EXEC FRANK WHITE'S JOB???

We notice that legislators aren't hostile to the idea of Troy Schulte working at the Courthouse despite the threat of paying his EPIC salary and leaving nothing more than peanuts for longtime workers.

However, here's the question that keeps coming up . . .

SO FAR TROY SCHULTE'S COUNTY JOB DUTIES HAVEN'T BEEN OUTLINED AND HE'S BASICALLY COMING IN TO CLEAN UP TEAM FRANK'S MESS!!!

A white knight or savior is a nice idea but time and time again we've seen Exec Frank White destroy working relationships and refuse to take reasonable advice. So there's no reason to expect that Troy Schulte can turn things around.

Accordingly and whilst legislators are being very nice in public . . .

BEHIND THE SCENES THERE'S ANOTHER MOVE TO DENY TEAM FRANK THE PRICEY SERVICES OF TROY SCHULTE!!!

Again, a competent administrator would be nice but that's what voters believed they were getting with Exec White . . .

Instead . . .

The Jackson County Property Tax Crisis has shown us the courthouse is in the clutches of a maniacal, obtuse, stubborn politico who would rather callously witness residents kicked out of their homes than work toward a compromise.

  1. County need to tell Frank NO on everything until he comes to the table with the BOE. They Legislature has talked a good game but they haven't done much to find a solution for the tax problems this year.

    1. When did Troy become a competent administrator?

Didn't see much of that at City Hall. He was mostly just a best friend to developers.

  2. Will he get a new truck paid out of COMBAT FUNDS too?

  3. Troy will get the job.

But it will only last a few months.

  4. Isn't that the way it usually is for diversity hires.

  5. Because Frank is an incompetent figurehead celebrity, there to make the diversity clan feel warm.and fuzzy.

  7. In Jackson County and KCMO, taxpayer money is just a great big slush fund for the handful of celebrity wannabees involved in "local government".
So just shovel another couple hundred grand out the door to a person who has demonstrated his incompetence at basic management, budgeting, fiscal responsibility, and even honesty.
And he did all that RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET.
You just can't make this stuff up!

  8. Your 25% Property Tax increase will go to hiring more overpaid administrators, increase salaries of existing overpaid administrators etc. A minimum of the huge property tax increase will actually benefit the taxpayers with improved roads, schools, law enforcement etc. DEMOCRATS ARE COMMUNISTS TAKING YOUR MONEY WITH HIGHER TAXES TO INCREASE THEIR SALARIES AND BENEFITS. PLAIN AND SIMPLE.

  9. I would initially say that it is a good idea for the County to bring him on. HOWEVER, the crap he enabled in the city disqualifies him from any local governmental position.

  10. The Democrats who run Jackson County have to raise our property taxes because there isn't enough money but they can afford to give Schulte a big salary.

    ReplyDelete
  11. But who will be hired to clean up the messes left by Schulte?
    I know!
    Jermaine Reed and Jolie Justus.
    It never changes.

  12. Hiring Troy to work for the county would be as big a mistake as Troy hiring that lady to be the fire chief. This good ole boys club that operates here in Kansas City needs to be disbanded.

  13. You can hire multiple managers, or you can hire/elect one good one.

  16. Frank's a Democrat. It's what they do. They want everything you have. Then they want some more.

  17. What's more corrupt than politics in Kansas City?

    I'm waiting!

I'm also waiting for Byron's Tax Returns, has anyone seen them?

  18. No. Just no. If Frank White isn't able to do the job he was elected to do, he should resign. Not hire someone else to do the work.

  19. So we're going to pay $200K to this guy and he's only going to answer to Frank White? HELL NO!!!

  20. Troy making 200,000 a year is a slap in the face to EVERY ONE who just got their tax bill.

As for Frank, he needs to resign from office. We've never had a worse executive.
