International Crime Smooth Operator Confronts Kansas City Country Club Plaza

Credit where it's due . . . The damn Thomas Crown Affair going down in this embattled KCMO entertainment district is kinda classy even if it's unfortunate that local merchants took a hit. Meanwhile, the fading Johnson County middle-class FAKING IT in the middle of a corn-field might be safer but certainly not as interesting.

Watch theft on the Plaza tied to Romanian crime family

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) - Investigators believe a confirmed member of a Romanian organized crime network ripped off a jeweler on the Plaza using the same skillful deception that he's used before around the country. 2. But Kansas City residents do the same thing just look at what the locals did to Eddie Bauer. So just about the entire city is one big crime family, not just Romanian's.

  3. I love how MSM has to call them a "Romanian crime family". They're gypsies, the end.

  4. Tivols should have been on red alert when a guy with a Romanian accent who looks like him walks in alone, puts down a measly $1,000 on a 50K watch. Real Rolex buyer pay the whole amount at time of purchase and walk out of the store wearing the watch after its band has been fitted to their wrist. At least I did. But %1,000 down??// Really????

  9. 10:46 here. I am retired. That's why I comment here in the day. I live off my savings and a portfolio that returns 12% to 20% a year. Want to get wealthy? I suggest you buy Ticker : IEP. Its my favorite. Its Carl Icahn's "stock" that returns a nice 12.5% yield each year. I bought a lot of it in 1995. Check out the price appreciation since '95 and then figure in say a 10% yield each year on top of that. There are a few more stock that have really done well for me, but I am not going to share the rest since you done made fun of me!

  10. It sounds like a good idea to invest in some stable companies with high dividends. I always thought REITs fit that profile very well. Would be interested in what others you recommend for dividends.
