EPIC Kansas City Crossroads Freighthouse Building Boom In The Works

OF COURSE they want tax breaks and public subsidy . . .

About the project:

"The planning area consists of 17 parcels and runs roughly from 20th Street to the northern edge of the railroad tracks and from Wyandotte Street to Grand Boulevard. Currently, the land is mostly dirt or gravel, parking lots and some small vacant buildings."

Crossroads Arts District may get $350M mixed-use by 3D Development - Kansas City Business Journal

The project, in its early stages, would be wedged between Union Station and the southern edge of the Crossroads Arts District. It would preserve some existing buildings, launch new construction, replace parking lots with parking garages and add density to the underused area.
