The Kansas City Chiefs star earned nothing but a wrist slap for his domestic drama that dominated the Summer BUT now confronts a hefty fine for a recent hand gesture. Take a look:
Chiefs' Tyreek Hill Fined $10,527 For Flashing Peace Sign Before Touchdown
Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill has been fined $10,527 by the NFL for flashing a peace sign before scoring a touchdown during his team's Week 7 win over the Denver Broncos, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.
Keep fining #10 (it matches his lower case iq.) His coach and the team owner obviously condone such franchise embarrassing behaviors on the field as well off (look at his history) To wit, the NFL fined him - not KC ownership.
ReplyDeleteThese 'hey look at me everybody!' types epitomize what is wrong with today's NFL: is about 'I'ndividuals, not team. Too many self-aggrandizing types, too much money and too little to no accountability, especially from the team.
Contrast such antics with the Chiefs when they were Champs - class compared today's crass. Len Dawson, HOF/Superbowl QB made it an habit to say 'we got the ball to him' when the team scored an td pass - WE - not ME. He also was quoted 'there's a time and a place to fool but the playing field is neither the time nor the place.'
Outdated? Apparently - just like 'this is our year!', now serving part 2019, verse 50. Wonder if there is any correlation between a disciplined team and being the winningest team in AFL history, and one has not sniffed relevancy since the 1900's, and continues to be undisciplined/more concerned on-field antics/theatrics than winning? Perhaps they would still s**k like an Hoover vacuum cleaner, antics or no... team/players are greatly overhyped this and every season, per the usual.
Half a century failure, KC will likely never win anything of note, but don't we look cool gyrating and preening and taunting the other team/players afore falling on our face again end of season annually - a Kansas City tradition.
'Wait till next year', ad nauseam...
Many of these fans that go to the Games are one paycheck from disaster. Many season tickets have been sold in Bankruptcy Court.

^^^He’s boring as fuck. I skip that long-winded shit like I skip chuck’s latest cut and paste job. Two useless geezers who don’t know when to shut their always running mouths. Why do old people think anyone wants to hear anything they have to say?? They come here and post all day because this is the only interaction they get. Everybody else in the real world justifiably shuns them.

ReplyDeleteYou have stated the facts perfectly, thank you.
Old school Chiefs were classy? Maybe except Jim Tyrer who killed his wife and then himself. That's not exactly classy.
