There's one part of MLK Blvd that isn't (totally) subject to continuous debate as community, students and volunteers hope to renew this iconic landmark. Take a look:
Kansas City business owner working to transform historic Paseo steps
KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A local business owner is moving forward with his plans to renovate a set of historic steps outside Paseo High School. The steps located along MLK Boulevard and Swope Parkway have sat untouched for more than 70 years.
So leave them untouched, what is the issue?? Oh, ya, gotta sink a ton of taxpayer dollars into a renovation project in the hood. My days in KCMO are short. It just isn't how I want to spend my money.
ReplyDelete^^^ Buh-bye, wish I could say it's been nice.
ReplyDeleteThe fat fake revs will want those steps renamed to mlk steps, after the street he never visited or the steps he never set foot on, I’m surprised they forgot to get them renamed also, but nobody said they was smart either so.... racist bastards
ReplyDeleteRemember that the black community cheered when the KCPSD tore down the old Paseo HS? They claimed it represented "white privilege" as a former all-white school. Let the steps fall apart and that will complete the removal of all traces of evil white people.
ReplyDeleteSurprised no hood rats or thugs were involved in the clean up.
ReplyDeleteFuture murder location.
ReplyDelete^^^ already has been.....
ReplyDeleteWould not walk those steps without full body armor.
