Pink Wave Wins Kansas 2020?!?!

Another reminder that white ladies hold all the power in this suburban enclave . . .

"Former Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius waded into the race for U.S. Senate race Monday, a move that could help seal the Democratic nomination for state Sen. Barbara Bollier."

Former Gov. Sebelius endorses Barbara Bollier for Senate

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Former Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius on Monday endorsed Barbara Bollier for U.S. Senate, saying the state senator "will be a breath of fresh air" among the gridlock in Washington, D.C. 1. Neither political parties like or trust her after her switch.
A Kansas state-wide candidate from Mission Hills? Please!
And if she somehow makes it through the Democratic primary, she'll be crushed in the general election, pretty much regardless of who the Republican candidate is.
There hasn't been a Democratic U S Senator from Kansas since the 1930's.
And the Dem presidential candidates running on Medicare for all, open borders, free health care for undocumented immigrants, "gun control", and who knows what else, ain't going to play too well in Kansas.

  2. Pink Wave????

I doubt that's really pink on the inside if that's what's being asked here.

  3. I think a lot of Republicans, those that she wants to vote for her, could have stomached her defecting from the Republican party to become an Independent. The switch to the opposing party is what's unforgivable.

I'm not going to knock that she's from Mission Hills - happy for her family's success. I do think there is a thought bubble in NE JoCo that lead her to believe the switch would make her electable. The only wildcard is if Kobach gets the nomination. He is the ONLY Republican candidate that could get her elected.

  4. Well, at least she won't be my state senator anymore. The woman was destined to lose even that election in 2020 after her endorsement of a Democrat in 2018 and her switcheroo. The people who are promoting this woman in public office are exceptionally delusional.

  5. Pink wave?

An incompetent gas passer and political turncoat who has zero name recognition outside Johnson county whose biggest ally was an incompetent governor who helped Obama fuck up healthcare in the country?

    Good luck with that...

  7. I have as a Kansas ever liked Sebelius or her nominees for any post. She needs to stop trying to be an influence peddler in Kansas.
