The fate of his victim didn't merit much legal argument, meanwhile: "Bucklew had twice previously been within hours of execution, only to have the U.S. Supreme Court grant last-minute reprieves over concerns that he might suffer during the execution process. He had a condition called cavernous hemangioma and had blood-filled tumors in his head, neck and throat. He breathed with help from a tracheostomy tube."
Now the argument is settled as state-sanctioned killing ramps ups and should give all denizens of the political discourse a moment of pause over the power that voters grant to elected officials and their government.

Russell Bucklew Executed For 1996 Murder After Missouri's Governor Says No To Clemency
Missouri executed its first prisoner since 2017 on Tuesday night. Despite the man's rare medical condition, no complications were reported. Russell Bucklew had been on death row since 1997 for killing a man in Cape Girardeau County.
The only injustice here is that it takes twenty years to execute these pieces of shit
ReplyDeleteIn this case it took 24 years to send this shitbag off to a dirt nap,the victims get no justice
DeleteYou mean hurting as in pain he inflicted when he murdered that man?
ReplyDeleteExecutions should be carried out in the manner of how they killed their victim. You shoot someone with a gun you get a firing squad. I doubt they would be hard to get enough volunteers for that. You knife someone then you get your neck sliced open. Beat someone to death and you get beaten to death with baseball bats as you're tied to a chair. 22 years on death row is utterly ridiculous.
^^^ X 10,000
Delete^^^Do you believe in God? If not...fine. But if you do, then you’re going to hell with that attitude and deservedly so. Just do you know.
ReplyDelete^^Fuck off with stupid shit like that. Even the Bible says an eye for an eye you freaking retard. God's word are "Thou shalt not kill."
ReplyDeleteSomebody once told me God Don't Make No Trash. God what a lie
ReplyDelete10:05 is going to hell for going against Gods word.
ReplyDelete^^^ Obviously.
ReplyDeleteKidding.
I love you and think you're very special.
Many states will sentence violent offenders with a "death penalty" but then refuse to carry out the sentence.
ReplyDeleteThese states are unable to keep their word, and unable to enforce their legal/law enforcement obligations.
Kansas comes to mind, refusing for decades to deliver just punishment for violent serial killers, etc.
Jesus supported capital punishment. He submitted to it, and allowed 2 others to die with him. Criminals accept the risk they may die when they start mass murders and crimes. This guy lived way too long. The roman catholics had no issue burning innocent religious protestants and jews at the stake in england. But show up here to protest?
ReplyDeleteGov Mike Parsons allowed a breathing tube forced down a mans neck in order to murder the chronically ill prisoner.
ReplyDeleteThat was very kind of our Governor #Parsons2020
DeleteCannot say it enough, f__k him.

ReplyDeleteYou must have taken History in the Kansas City school district.
And gotten a failing grade.
You’ll feel a little pressure.
ReplyDeleteI hope he died screaming. Is there audio I could buy?
ReplyDeleteSimple fix. Change the statute to let the condemned prisoner choose the manner of his death: lethal injection or firing squad.
ReplyDelete^^Ugh huh...did you see that on Matlock pops? Wander off now.
ReplyDeleteThis guy shot someone dead, all while trying to murder someone else. Then later sought out and beat his intended victim's parents with a hammer? Why is it that news reporters and others call these people "gentlemen"? I saw a citizen telling the news about a mass shooting he saw- he said 'the gentlemen had an assault rifle and started shooting randomly into the crowd". These are NOT GENTLEMEN. They are people that WOULD KILL YOU and your family if they could. This guy would have gladly killed the 4 priests that showed up to protest his execution and all the other people there too. The problem is the average citizen doesn't know that real evil exists in this world and those with evil should be killed. Other countries know this and execute murderers. Why shouldn't we?
ReplyDeleteBecause they were White. Media always tries to over-humanize White criminals whilst over-criminalizing their Black counterparts. It is wrong. This guy is as much of a dangerous thug as any other non-white person who commits the same crime. Just today, a majority Black jury semtenced a White cop to 10 years for intentionally killing a guy sitting in his own apartment minding his own business. Black people also reinforce White supremacy. The entirety of the US cultural scene turns on mental illness. A color never made anything better than...
ReplyDeleteOver 50,000 Americans are murdered and placed in graves each year. That's 500,000 over the past 10 years. 1,000,000 over 20 years. AND HOW MANY MURDERERS HAVE BEEN EXECUTED IN THE USA IN 20 YEARS?
ReplyDeleteCan you believe his attorneys wanted to keep him alive? For what reason? To collect more legal fees? Are the attorneys our enemies? He was!
