KRIS KOBACH TROLLS JOHNSON COUNTY AGAIN BY DENOUNCING 'SANCTUARY CITY' ROELAND PARK!!! IS HE RIGHT?!?!
This suburban Johnson County, Kansas social media beef doesn't really impact policy or the lives of the working-class but it serves to further contribute to the divisive discourse among middle-class suburban white people -- The focus of most bland MSM news content and the hopes & dreams of the American public.
So we'll bite . . .
KRIS KOBACH DENOUNCES 'SANCTUARY CITY' ROELAND PARK!!! DOES HE HAVE A LEGIT ARGUMENT OR IS HE JUST TROLLING FOR ATTENTION AGAINST A COMMUNITY THAT HAS REJECTED HIM IN ONE ELECTION AFTER ANOTHER?!?
We assume he gets bored waiting by the phone for Prez Trump to call and so this is what he did to pass the time today . . .
Kris Kobach says policy makes Roeland Park a sanctuary city
“If they are not going to assist the federal government in removing dangerous illegal aliens for the streets of our country, then they should not be entitled to any federal funds,” Kris Kobach, Candidate for U.S. Senate, said.
Kobach took up his familiar mantle of a hard-line stance on immigration less than a day after the discussion in Roeland Park. Kobach says Roeland Park is now a sanctuary city.
“The chief has sole authority to override this policy, but this is clearly a sanctuary policy,” Kobach said.
Real talk interlude . . .
THIS DEBATE MOSTLY SERVES TO MAKE LIVES OF A FEW DISHWASHERS, MAIDS, LAWN CARE WORKERS MISERABLE!!!
Hypocritical U.S. immigration policy is NOTORIOUS for letting employers slide . . . Which is understandable given that a few arrests aren't enough to confront MILLIONS of illegal immigrants.
Nevertheless, the mostly theoretical debate continues . . .
RPD Chief Kelly responded with a lengthy memo but here's the crux of his argument:
"We want people to understand that while immigration enforcement remains a difficult topic, and one that cannot be solved at the municipal level, Roeland Park will focus its time and resources on doing what it does best: keeping our residents, our streets, our parks, and our homes safe. We are lucky our police officers have chosen to serve us in that capacity."
A few things to consider . . .
- Roeland Park is one of the safest places in the metro. Whatever their police chief is doing is working.
- Roeland Park serves mostly as a speed trap. That's their priority which constantly frustrated middle-class commuters moving further South at high velocity.
- This is a safe and smart move by Kris Kobach. He's not out to make friends but to bring nationally divisive issues to the home front in order to stir intense political divisions among nearly identical people all living quiet lives of desperation next to one another.
Did it work???
You decide . . .
