  7. The fiasco on Englewood almost makes the disaster on North Brighton a few years ago look better! Probably the same General Contractor, somebody's brother or someone in the City a silent partner.

    There have been several month-long periods over the past three years when the Construction Machinery was loaded up and hauled away to other jobs, then returned to continue the exact work that it left unfinished.

    The City needs to tighten up its contracting, ad enforce delayed completion penalties.
    (And maybe investigate its own employees for bribery.)
