Early snowfall results in over 100 crashes across KC metro
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Roads across northwest Missouri and northeast Kansas were partially covered with black ice Thursday morning after overnight snowfall, making for a messy morning commute. In Kansas City, Missouri, police alone responded to 116 crashes during the morning rush hour, between 5 a.m. and 9 a.m.
