Kansas City Public Library: Overrated?!?!

The Pitch celebrates the institution which, in the advent of the cheap/free/useless mobile phone Internets most mostly serves as a place for Crosby Kemper III to hold court and dominate political discussions rather than a resource for research for anybody who can afford a laptop.

This might come up later . . . So let us know if we're off base in our skepticism of this town's 2nd favorite homeless shelter.

Take a look:

I love our libraries in Kansas City Missouri. Been to virtually all of them and I think KC has the best. Not overrated at all. Kts the best thing I like about Kansas City.

It's a great place for bums to watch internet porn and choke the chicken. The more aggressive ones like to bully people.

^^But only worthless, complaining, good-for-nothing, geezers like you...so all good!

Chimpy, now now. You have no idea what to do with a book except maybe eat it!

Crosby Kemper deserves great praise for what he's done with the library system. Those of us who remember what the downtown branch was like when it was at 12th Street and Oak know what a difference he's made. Even the bums are slightly less odorous at 10th and Baltimore.
