At the end of the work day Kansas City's youngest mayor in quite some time shares a proud message and lets his rainbow ally colors fly . . .
Mayor Q: "All Kansas Citians should be able to openly love who they love — with no fear of repudiation. We’re working to advance policies in City Hall that protect our LGBT brothers and sisters from discrimination & outlaw conversion therapy."
You are welcome here. #NationalComingOutDay
You decide . . .
Alright d-bags, be nice. Remember that you're alone on a Friday night whilst the rest of KC is enjoying themselves and have friends!
ReplyDeletedoes that include you, d-bag?
DeletePeople have phones, I'm reading this while waiting much too long for my drink.
DeleteAnd btw, very proud of my mayor!
^^^ +1
ReplyDeleteWhat about a man who loves 3 different women?
ReplyDeleteSo we have a pride month, and a coming out day. How many more are gonna be added.
ReplyDeleteSo when is Quinton going to come out and tell us what everyone already knows?
ReplyDeleteU first
Delete10 :23 12 months 365 days in a year. Just a guess. Because that is ALL you hear 24 /7.
ReplyDeleteI’m waiting for a joint announcement from Q and Tony.
ReplyDelete^^^^ LULZ!
ReplyDeleteI always love when politicians at the local level say they’re going to expound laws for this or that. The truth is its all hot air. This City can’t make any laws that sidestep or conflict with any federal or state law. And there are plenty of laws already on the books. I think these politicians say this bullshit for likes and giggle. Anybody who knows anything about law - knows this. So, exactly what law are you talking about expounding so that gays feel more included.... I’ll wait. **eyeroll**

ReplyDeleteIn other words Lucas is wanting to discriminate against YOU who are straight and normal citizens. Are you going to put up with this people? Gays already have rights it's the rights they want to take away from you also known as dictatorship telling you who you can and can't like. This can go both ways, looking forward to the fight. Congrats KC you put a mayor in worse than the one you had before.
No one could be worse than Sly--except for Jolie, whom the voters wisely rejected.
ReplyDeleteWhy not save your hate for the fundie service tomorrow?
Did he ask all the citizens of killa shitty before making this announcement? I’m pretty sure that at least 75% of the citizens would disagree with his comments.
ReplyDeleteWhen will he actually start doing his job instead of making worthless cheesy comments and taking selfies all over the country?
As an openly gay man, I find it silly to have all these "days" dedicated to this or that, who cares when YOU came out, its all just patronizing a specific group to garner future votes - nothing is free, everything comes with a price; just like the far left, groups within the gay community are vocal and their demands are the only voice you hear in the media; most of us just live our lives like the rest of you - quietly and in our own space.
ReplyDelete^^^^^FTW
ReplyDeleteAh Tweety Bird Mayor Q has gone officially insane.
ReplyDelete819, ditto. I’m embarrassed by “pride” and all the other nonsense that a small portion of the gay population revels in. Unfortunately the ones that seem to be into it the most are the in-your-face attention whores.
ReplyDelete^^^^^Good point.
ReplyDeleteQ doesn't need to "come out". He has "cum IN " my mouth a number of times.

ReplyDeleteQuinton claims the "Q" in LGBTQ!!!
"All Kansas Citians should be able to openly love who they love — with no fear of repudiation." So sQuint, if someone wants to love a dog or horse, you'll support that won't you?
ReplyDelete^^^^As long as they get the dog's or horse's written permission.
