LEST WE FORGET, an international Holocaust remembrance project from German-Italian photographer Luigi Toscano, was exhibited in Kansas City, MO from Sep 20th to Oct 6th, 2019 at the Memorial Courtyard at the National WWI Museum and Memorial.
This project was brought to Kansas City by Goethe Pop Up Kansas City as part of Wunderbar Together: Year of German-American Friendship and in partnership with the National WWI Museum and Memorial. Special acknowledgement is owed to the many individuals and organizations who helped in bringing this powerful project to Kansas City, and especially the survivors and their families, without whom this exhibition would not have been possible.
