Kansas City High Tax Ruckus

We wouldn't dare miss the GOLD STANDARD of Kansas City discourse talking the issues of the day . . . Here's a glimpse at this week's show given that we didn't check it out last night . . .

Check the description:

"Mike Shanin talks to KCMO Councilwoman Ryana Parks-Shaw about her new role on the city council and her top priorities. Gwen Grant, Ron Freeman, Jason Grill and Dave Trabert discuss recent reports that rank Kansas as the tenth most taxed state and the fifth most popular state to leave, the frontrunners in the 2020 Missouri gubernatorial race and the most recent Democratic presidential debate."

Take a look:

Shanin does't contribute anything either. Just another urban core expert who lives in Johnson County.

Why is it people with money and connections and a"standing in community" are the ones trying to tell the rest of them community to live their lives and what they should do with their money they have worked hard for. Why is it you don't see common people i.e bus drivers or nurses or sanitational persons on these shows.. I wish they understood how foolish they look when things start ranting and raving about how someone else should live their life or even giving their opinion on something come off like they're supposed to cure cancer or something.

BEST LINE OF THE PROGRAM?

Concerning the recent Democratic Party candidate debate:

"It was like a 3-hour telethon for Socialism."
