  3. The news people always tell us to leave early, to allow plenty of time. This of course is what their advertisers want them to do. I call BS. Go late. Wait till it is light, and the temperature is up. Make excuses later...say you got behind an accident, gr8 stuck, whatever. Don't take chances for people who couldn't care less about you.

These are the same people you're risking your life and others and your personal belongings for someone who wouldn't give you any kind of a notice if they were to fire you or lay you off.   7. And yet the KCMO police alone responded to 116 crashes during the morning rush hour between 5 a.m. and 9 a.m. Of those, 77 resulted in injuries. This number doesn't include walk-in reports or crashes in other parts of the metro. Weird.
