Kansas City Autumn Saturday Night Playlist And The Upcoming Recession

Sorry there's not much good news for our late night TKC readers but the upcoming recession threatens to impact Kansas City very bit as much as our rising homicide rate and continued infrastructure neglect.

Some of our favorite news links on the topic . . .

FP: The most-anticipated recession in history is coming, and it's tying investors in knots

Bloomberg: The Next Recession’s Cure Might Be Worse Than the Disease

CNBC: Many Americans say their financial situation is worse since the Great Recession

Finance  Yahoo: We're One Mistake Away From a Global Recession

NBC: It’s the bulls’ game to lose as the stock market heads for its final act of 2019

Accordingly, as the leaves fall and markets threaten to do the same, we're sharing some of our favorite Fall songs with late night denizens.

As always, thanks for reading this week and have a safe and fun Saturday night.

  1. Economy will be fine and pretty much the same but expect nothing but recession news from now until 2020.

    Think about it.

    1. ^^^ Actually, a lot of truth to that. Notice that the recession news is coming at a quicker clip as this impeachment B.S. keeps going on and on.

  3. The lying "get Trump with anything" media throwing out daily bullshit hoping to dissuade his supporters from voting for him.
    It will not work.
The media is so obviously in the opposition tank, that people will vote for Trump just to give a big "fuck you" to the media.

The East Coast/West Coast bubble thinks that have this all figured out, on how to fool all of us rubes in the rest of the country.

    MAGA 2020!

    1. That didn't happen in 2018. Why should it happen now?

  4. The Media and liberals would do ANYTHING to bring down Trump, including forcing a recession.

Your neighbors and maybe you, would drink more, lose your homes, your cars, maybe your wives, certainly your jobs, but hey! Fuck it, WE GOT TRUMP AND IF IT TAKES RUINING YOUR LIFE AND BRINGING ON AN UNNECESSARY RECESSION, WHO CARES?

  5. Liberals and the Liberal media are giddy about the thought of a recession. They actually want the economy to be bad. The best unemployment numbers in 50 years make them very unhappy.

  6. Which "Best Unemployment Numbers"?
Under the unrevised methods of calculating (pre-June,2017), unemployment hasn't changes since late 2016.

Guess there's always Creative Accounting to fall back on when an insane Economic Mythology fails yet again.
