LENEXA, Kan. - Across the Kansas City metro, UPS wants to add 1,100 people to its team. The open positions include 775 package handlers, 165 delivery and tractor-trailer drivers and 350 driver helpers. Some of those employees will work inside the Lenexa Customer Center, which is looking to hire 500 workers.

    Haunted by the Republican failures to serve the residents of the State, the GOP-led Legislature's collaboration in the Brownback Fiscal Irresponsibility, the ongoing drive to shift the State's tax burden completely away from the rich and onto the workers and farmers, the embarrassment of Kobach's insanity in his failed search for voter fraud, and in their refusal to face the consequences of their own cowardice and pandering.
