KANSAS CITY 2019 HOMICIDE #118: MOST LOCAL MURDER VICTIMS KILLED BY GUNFIRE SEYZ NEWSIE SURVEY REPORT!!!

Monday starts with another local murder that adds to the local quotient of misery deadly violence.

Here's the aftermath:

KMBC: Kansas City police investigate homicide in 4300 block of Hardesty Avenue

KSHB: Woman killed in shooting near 43rd and Hardesty, police say

KCTV5: The reported shooter remained at the scene, police said. Detectives are interviewing possible witnesses to determine what occurred

And so we ask . . .

ARE GUN RIGHTS REALLY THE REASON FOR KANSAS CITY'S 2019 HOMICIDE SPIKE WHEN OTHER TOWNS JUST LIKE DON'T SEE THE SAME LEVEL OF MURDER?!?

And yes, those towns are just as or even more diverse.

Those towns have fewer resources.

Many of those American cities, like Detroit, have confronted similar murder spikes and economic hardship but actually rank lower than KC when it comes to per capita deadly violence.

Sadly, the local solution to curbing the rising murder count has been an endless and unproductive political blame game debate touted by politicos who are really more concerned with career progress returning favors to cronies than finding solutions for people who live, work and die in Kansas City.

    1. ^^^^ Actually, KC is not doing worse than Detroit. But only if you're a developer waiting on tax breaks and subsidies from KCMO. Then things are peachy. If you can't get any political favors, good luck.

    2. Funny that new mayor is more interested in marijuana law reform and football. Not going to see much progress against crime on his watch.

    3. There is something else the new mayor is more interested in. Swishing around gay bars in Lawrence.

  2. 95 percent of these murders seem to only happen to the east of troost...the police should focus of that area of the city. The should crack down giuliani style so kids and the under privileged are better served and don't have to live in fear

  4. I'm calling bullshit on that number,I'd venture to say we are close to 130 which for a metropolitan area of 500 grand is high.

  6. Guns aren't the reason, but guns in the wrong hands and weak leadership are the problem.

Kc electeds are the most corrupt bunch in USA. They don't care if the whIle city murders itself, as long as they get their cut of the next development deal.

  7. Should be 119 with the third murder on hardesty in a week, becoming almost as popular as prospect. When your city and county are weak on crime, no wait, ignore crime and whose committing them well, this is what you get. Demmocrim run cities are the worst in the nation.

  10. Guns are everywhere but crime and murder is not. It's a people issue, not a gun issue.

  11. If I wasn't allowed to have a gun at home, I would move to Kansas. KCPD: minutes away when seconds count.

  15. It's all empty talk from KC electeds. They don't really want to do anything, they just need somewhere else to focus the blame. Better than taking any responsibility.

  16. If most of these Criminals were in jail like they are supposed to be, the crimes would have never occurred. Leftists wanted criminals out on the street . Out on the streets criminals are. Now give us the statistics of how many killers were career criminals vs blame the method they illegally choose to use to perform an illegal act. 100 percent

  17. Everyone dances around it, but the honest reason for these crimes are black people. Plain and simple.

  18. I will not give up my 2A rights or property because the KC vermin gangbangers are running around and killing each other. Worse yet the democrats want to make victims out of them and they think that renaming a street will appease them and stop the violence. It’s amazing how fast democrats can destroy a city. 7:30 spot on.

  19. ^^Who ever asked you to dummy?? Tell us, come on...who has asked you to give up your "2A" rights???? Waiting.....still waiting....Goddamn, you're dumb. You're too stupid to exercise your 2A rights! Fucking idiot. Why don't you do everyone else a favor and exercise your 2A rights and remove yourself from the gene pool!!!!!
