  1. Word is, loads of those cheap China-made tchotchkes are seasonally given away to retirement homes and donated by the truckloads to the charity thrift stores. Geezer-hater's angry grandpa and sad grandma are leaving their dusty, chipped and cig smokey collection of 'Keepsakes' ornaments to him in their will.

Seriously, don't laugh. He's thrilled. He's the one who chipped them, by playing with them through his late 20s!

  7. "gift shops" are an early-americas custom, like "greeting cards" sent by snail mail. they also used to leave bottles of milk on your front steps. and save themselves for when they were married.

dood: nobody does that shit anymore.

it's all changed. now you can even get instant nookie from strange girls and boys with an app on your phone.

also, we're living in a bankrupt country now. nobody can afford stupid ancient folkways anymore.

    get over it.

  9. So right. Hallmark puts "Limited Edition" on a Christmas ornament made of sh*t and people snap it up, thinking it will be worth five times the amount in 30 years because the production run was limited. The fact is all production runs are limited.
