Firefighters Rescue Kansas City Kitty

Real life nice news because this Monday desperately needs it . . . Take a look:

No joke: KCFD rescues stranded cat on a roof

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Sometimes a cliche is a cliche for a reason. Students occasionally give a teacher an apple. Police officers occasionally eat donuts. Firefighters occasionally rescue cats ... with a ladder truck ... from a rooftop ... near East 23rd Street and Topping Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri.

  1. Don't think they don't givva shid. Most of them wanna take da kitty home to the station and make him a mascot. Not sure if the rules allow it but they would love to take in every critter they could save except (maybe) mice. Fireman are the least cynical of our public servants with cops being a close second.
