CHURCH AND STATE: KANSAS CITY FAITH COMMUNITY PRAYS FOR 'TRUTH' AMID PREZ TRUMP IMPEACHMENT THREAT!!!

This isn't quite "good news" but what seems like politics from the pulpit and a glimpse of the nearly religious fervor that Prez Trump inspires among both his detractors and supporters alike . . . Take a look a local church making the national news for their Ukraine vigil:

NPR: Praying For The Impeachment Probe To Deliver The Truth

Deets:

"As Democratic lawmakers are subpoenaing officials for information about President Trump's actions, other people have found another way to support the inquiry. In today's Sunday morning services, some progressive Christian congregations spent time praying for the impeachment inquiry, for the members of Congress who are conducting it and for whatever it might find. NPRvisited one church in Kansas City, Mo., and has this report."

  3. The Trumps are sniggering because Hunter Biden only get $50K a month when Junior Trump gets that much for one speech.

And Jared and Ivanka are sniggering because Junior is such a piker.

  4. ^^^ how much does lyin crooked Hillary get for a speech? And you probably would pay to go hear her spread her lies wouldn’t you. The Trump kids actually earned their money where as the Biden’s have to steal it through political connections and deceit hell, they’re taking money from the Russians and the Chinese but that’s ok with you dummocucks isn’t it. Morons.

  5. ^^^^News flash! Neither Trump nor his kids earned their money.

You gotta tune in to a different channel!

And I would pay as much to hear Hillary as I would to hear the great pumpkin.

  6. What organizations/people pay for speeches is pure capitalism. Let's not act like it's some conspiracy to enrich certain people. I get the argument over Trump's dumb son and his faux news girlfriend to an extent because that was student fee funds used to pay them. But there was nothing illegal about it. If someone wants to pay a politician, sports figure, actor or actress a bunch of money to come speak, that's their prerogative. Left or right.

BUT, Repubtards getting all up in arms over Hunter Biden is fucking rich. Trumps kids have been getting very very wealthy while he resides in the WH. And Jared and Ivanka, who are WH advisors with a level of security that defies logic, have been the biggest beneficiaries. So, spare me your outrage over anyone with connections politically who is making money unless you're prepared to call it out on both sides.

    1. What Trump's kids get paid, or not, is completely irrelevant. The point is that, in the latest mad rush to pin something, anything, on Trump, the blowback is all the left has really accomplished.

That blowback being that Joe Biden is on camera bragging about doing exactly what Trump is clearly not guilty of: pressuring a foreign power for shifty reasons. I know that's ok with you because it's not Trump. And if there's nothing wrong with it, then why did Biden's crackhead son suddenly resign from the board he had no business being on?

It's going to be another week of this worn-out non-impeachment. Yawn.

Just guessing, but just possibly to avoid the appearance of a conflict of interest in the event his father becomes president, which is something no one in the extended Trump family would dream of.

  12. 8:26 - If you're referencing Biden orchestrating the removal of the prosecutor/ag, whatever in Ukraine, just fucking stop already. This was supported by all of Western Europe. The guy was not prosecuting corruption. The only 'shifty reasons' come from wierdo, conspiracy, faux news sources, and rando websites. These facts have been proven out ad nauseum.

There is 0, meaning no, evidence of any wrongdoing on part of Hunter Biden beyond ethics watchdogs criticizing Hunter Biden's decision to work for Burisma because of who is father is. There's also NO evidence to support any suggestion that Biden pressured Ukraine to take action to benefit Hunter Biden. None.

What we do know is what was in the WH memo, and that the WH continues to hold back the full transcript of the call. I can read and comprehend and so can 50%+ of the country that support continuing down this "worn out non-impeachment" path.

    1. I understand why you'd want that to stop, because it's the heart of why this whole thing is such a bad deal for the corruption of the Bidens.

And I get it, you don't even know the basics of the issue as you clearly express. I will help.

The investigation into corruption in Ukraine started before the Trump administration even began. Sorry about what that does to your spin. And again, the evidence is clear, it's on camera, get over it. You were saying something about mental yoga?;)

And I guess St. Hunter Biden, that golden boy, just resigned those board memberships this weekend out of coincidence! That must be it. So if this monumental blowback hadn't occurred, he would have resigned anyway just out of sheer principle!

You need a mental yoga instructor certification. ;)

Waiting to see the Downward Facing Dog technique that makes you feel better about that. ;)

Everybody with a reasonably well constructed portfolio of stocks or mutual funds has been getting richer while Trump is President. Is that what you mean?

If not, prove your point. How much did each of them have at the end of 2016, how much does each of them have now, and what accounts for the increase if any?

  17. 9:51 - it's widely reported how much Jared and Ivanka made last year while serving the public. Give me a fucking break already.

It just never fucking ends with Trumpers, there's always some angle or what about this or that. You can't wrap your brains around the fact that you've elected a guy on the premise he was 'different' and would drain the swamp and he's the same on steroids. And now, he's fucking up foreign policy day in and day out.

Listen, the guy was elected and I didn't vote for him and thought, he'll get smart, surround himself with solid people who will help him make decisions and he deserves a chance. Now, any 'adult' who was with him has left the room. He's running shit like his businesses. And if you've lived under a rock and aren't aware of his businesses, that ain't good.

So let's see. Couple questions on the one sliver of argument you choose to engage with.

      1) Written proof of bribes is usually kept where?

      and

      2) If you like written proof so much, why isn't the whistleblower transcript (commonly available) or the accounts of everyone directly associated with the Phone Call of Doom (commonly available) good enough for you to understand that there was no coercion?

It's not actually your fault; it's that your side has lost its mind.

      Another try?

Until he produces it, the guy is full of shit, as are you and other Trumptards who keep trotting out these conspiracy theories with zero fucking evidence.....just some loony like Guliani going on state TV with a license to say whatever the hell he wants.

The whistleblower transcript is damning to Trump, damning enough that he continually tries to discredit it while at the same time, admitting to it. The guy tried coerce a foreign leader into investigating the top (at the time) Democratic challenger in the 2020 election. If he's so innocent, then why doesn't he produce the transcript of the call that has to be locked away? And who's accounts are you referring to? Pompeo? Shit, that guy only recently fessed up to being on the call, before that he denied he knew about it. So who else was on the call that I should get their take on it? Anyone else fessed up to being on it.

Seriously, Trump will feed you guys shit between slices of bread and tell you it's Ham and cheese and you'll believe him. This is his schtick, just repeat lies over and over and over and his minions will believe it. The majority of the country is over it. Just the 33% base continues to buy this garbage. 1. Well, it's an effort.

So, for reference, and to do away with your strawman: I'm happy to inform you that normally I line up center-left. But the a) crazed leftward turn of the Democratic party and b) similarly crazed and incompetent obsession with Trump has given lots of classical liberals nowhere to stand. I bring this up because most of your feeble--I can't really call it an argument--rests on the losing idea that anyone who would criticize the current silly games being played by the Dems must be a Trump supporter.

So, false. I know, I know. Take a minute if you need to breathe. Ready? Ok.

Yes, you're very concerned about that kooky conspiracy thinking. So it's perfectly reasonable to you that a 'whistleblower' who works for the intelligence community and is a registered Democrat has a sudden objection to a phone call they never heard and were only informed about, and goes and 'consults' with Adam Schiff's office before going public even though, again, no one directly associated with the call sensed any coercion whatsoever.

Not to mention the fact that Adam Schiff lied a)about his connection to the whistleblower, and b) by manufacturing dialogue in an open hearing to make it sound more coercion-y. And, by the way, still waiting on that mountain of collusion evidence he constantly claimed he had about the Russia hoax.

Funny thing is that no one who can read thinks there's that much to what's in the transcript. It's just the Ukranian currying favor as anyone would. Can you tell me which particular phrases alarm you so much? Or will you make it up like Adam Schiff, who today has closed off public access to his private basement get-Trump hearing. Oh I get it. There's a 'secret' 'extra' transcript where Trump, knowing he's being heard, threatens to break the guy's legs. Right. You were saying something about conspiracy theories?

Anyway, without your strawman, and resting on Adam Schiff's track record of falsehood, trying to parse an innocuous phone call into something more...it's just Russia part 2.

      Try again maybe?

Do we know he or she is a Democrat? How about the second whistleblower who was in on the call? Is he or she also a registered Democrat?

Define "consults" with Adam Schiff's office. My understanding is Schiff referred him or her to the IG without seeing the report.

Have you seen a transcript? Everyone else has seen a summary released by the White House.

It may well come to nothing, but when it comes to a "track record of falsehood," the great pumpkin has made that an art form.
