CABBIE TECH PUSH BACK: NEW KCI PROPOSES RIDE-SHARE CRACKDOWN!!!

Surprise . . . Local politicos find a way to keep our friends from the most politically astute cab company in town in business and legislate against the competition amid the changing markeplace . . . Take a look:

KCI and other airports considering changes to Uber and Lyft access

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Just in time for holiday travel, some airports are making it a little less convenient to travel. Along with larger crowds you may also lose the convenience of curbside drop off and pickup if you rely on taxis or ridesharing services like Uber and Lyft.

Comments

  1. Screw that - if they don't want Uber or Lyft dropping off curbside, then they have to ban Taxis as well! Private vehicles only!

  2. Justin Meyer, Deputy Director of Marketing for KCI, does confirm that the airport is considering relocating taxi and ride-sharing pick ups to a dedicated area.

No difference for the cabs or the ride share services. Nothing new for airport configurations.
