It'll pass.

Might have to wait a few weeks but it will pass. Stuff like this always does. With a few exceptions or maybe some gimmies built into the package but this is boiler plate corporate welfare that is standard for KC.

Where are the Trumpkins when this kind of socialism is passed?

^^^^^^^ @ 6:19

What are you talking about? Your comment makes no sense! Do you even know what your saying? Real stupid aren't you?

Just think of all the $12 an hour jobs. All 15 of them. They'll need free bus rides to show up to keep empty hotel open. Legalization of prostitution is the only hope for hotels in downtown.

We need to be "competin" with Portland. A city that has no NFL team, major problems snowballing daily, and little left of what made it a desirable place to live at one time.

^^and yet we can tell from your wretched post, you've never been there. Weird.

Chapter 100 Bonds are not backed by the City. They are paid by the developer. Please, get your facts straight. These hotels are very different from Burke/Slie's convention hotel folly!!

How much tax revenue is the development going to be generating vs. what the vacant land generates now?

Ha! Chimper loser, you've never been anywhere other than that stinking cage that you pretend is a rasslin' arena.

Portland is an all right city mainly because of it's lack of diversity. Very white city

Also, there's TENS OF THOUSANDS of affordable houses on the east side, Northeast, etc. It's all close to downtown too. Few talk about this

^^because this is a KC blog! Maybe that's why they don't talk about it? What do you think of that retard?

Simmer down there, WWE wannabe Chimpeepee! Tough-talking, and name-calling is plain silly, coming from such a goofy little monkey.

You can't Build affordable housing in this day and age With Building cost. Even if you hire undocumented worker's.What I would suggest. Farmers would sell you,or lease a couple of Acers. Buy or build a Six hundred square foot,Tiny home, you have a couple of Acers for outdoor living. Your away from the crime. Grow your own vegetables .Enjoy the good life. No high rent or two thousand dollar.a month Mortgage.
