A crowded field and the upcoming PINK WAVE inspire this unlikely politico to consider other career options. Here's the note:
Barry Grissom suspends campaign for Kansas U.S. Senate seat
MISSION, Kan. - Kansas Democratic and U.S. Senate candidate Barry Grissom has withdawn from the race on Oct. 17, saying a long primary would be hurtful to his party's goals. "After long consideration, I've come to believe the most important thing I can do to help us win this race is to step aside," Grissom in a letter released from his campaign.
Congratulations Senator Barbara Bollier!
ReplyDeleteState Senator to US Senator. Done deal.
Grissom had very little chances of even winning the primary, particularly after the reports of how poorly his operation was run when he was heading up the Fed's office.
ReplyDeleteSo now he endorses a person who has switched political parties, so isn't trusted by either, and will be lucky to prevail even in the weak field of the Democratic primary.
There hasn't been a Democratic US Senator in Kansas since the 1930's and there won't be after the 2020 election.
The Dems never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity.
Local swamp creature.
ReplyDelete4:16 that's some funny shit there.
ReplyDeleteShe was a phony Republican and a proven turncoat. When the political winds blow the other way again she'll try to sway back into the GOP as a 'moderate' again.
