This place was highly anticipated and celebrated in the local foodie media but the parking sucks and the rent is far too high.
Accordingly . . . Here's the shut down notice thanks to KICK-ASS TKC READERS and it's just about as informative as the moslty hype-excuse newsie blurb a couple of days ago.
The big picture, the Crossroads real estate and restaurant game has matured to the point that wherein new biz must have a solid plan to succeed in the long term and not just a good idea.
Developing . . .
Roaches, they had roaches.
ReplyDeleteWhen I try a new place, if I don't like the food or if it's just bad, I usually figure that it might have been an "off day" or something and give them a second chance.
ReplyDeleteI ate at this place once!
I went in there once and there were two homosexuals in there swishing around so I lost my appetite and left. Never went back.
ReplyDeleteThey are right. Lack of nearby parking was definitely a deterrent. Good food, too bad.

ReplyDeleteYou mean to say that businesses in KCMO depend on people driving to them and being able to find a place to park?
And that a business, especially a locally-owned small one can't survive on just walk-in customers?
That would be the 87% of metro residents who don't live in KCMO?
Shocking!
Why don't these people understand that to be woke, you have to take public "transit" and make believe that KCMO is a big, diverse, vibrant metropolis?
More time on THE streetcar is highly recommended.
^^You seem really, really, dumb.
ReplyDeleteChimpy! The average chimp IQ is 40 or do. And you're well beneath that. Pipe down.lol
DeleteCouldn't they have been more considerate and reworked the font and formatting so that "patronage" was not left on it's own line?
ReplyDeleteThe food was overpriced.
ReplyDeleteThey should have located in the North End. The Restaurants, there are always busy .And people can't eat at Gorossos all the time.
