This Summer local Walmart stores have endured a great many threats and in general Walmart is one of the top KC metro places where police are often called to help.
Accordingly, this news has a great deal of local impact:
ABC: Walmart to limit sales of guns, ammunition in wake of 'horrific' shootings
Axios: Walmart to halt sale of ammunition for handguns, assault-style weapons
Biz Insider: Walmart will ban shoppers from openly carrying guns in its stores and stop selling some ammunition in response to 2 deadly shootings
Developing . . .
WalMart can ban shoppers from open carrying in the stores but the criminal element will ignore it just like they do all the other laws.
ReplyDeleteFace it WalMart needs a better class of shoppers.
^^Or I don't know, maybe leave the gun toting to the professionals? Lot of good that open carry law in El Paso did all the good guys.
ReplyDelete^^ Your point clueless?
ReplyDelete^^You're too dumb to get it anyway Cletus!
ReplyDeleteGood for Wal-Mart! That's the smart move! Ammosexuals played themselves out. Gun dummies are really creepy anyway. Best to disassociate yourself from that riff-raff. This is only the start. There will be more companies waking up to the notion that it's bad business to peddle guns to the American public. They can't handle them.
ReplyDeleteWell, certain lesser breeds certainly can't. Who uses all those guns in most violent crime? Hmmmm.
DeleteCCW all day everyday. Be aware of your surroundings , don’t look for trouble ,walk away if you can. Be safe my white brothers.
ReplyDelete^^White geezer males. That's who!
ReplyDeleteOh Chimpy. I know you can't read human words very well. If you did you could easily review the FBI statistics that tell the whole story!!
DeleteSo sad for lil Chimpy. :)
2:38 is also clueless.
ReplyDelete^^and yet apparently not as clueless as you appear to be. Weird.
ReplyDeletewant a gun, you can go to a specialty gun shop, Walmart can get out of the gun & ammo biz entirely.
ReplyDelete^^They need to. Too may gandys shop there for my taste.
ReplyDeleteWalMart realizes that it is FAR more profitable to follow widespread public support to do something about gun violence that results in innocent people and children being slaughtered than to pander to the lesser fringe of paranoid and impotent gundalmentalists.
ReplyDeleteWell stated 2:43
ReplyDelete^^^ Bold face lice
ReplyDeleteDon’t worry boys, they’ll still sell shotguns and ammo for them, also small handgun ammo will still be sold!
ReplyDelete3:27 love the chimpy comments! Keep up the great work my friend!
ReplyDeleteJust think of how many of all these AR and AK shootings they could have prevented by no longer selling .380 ammo... sigh
ReplyDeleteThe "do something" crowd needs to realize it is guns/ammo today, then cigarettes, vapes, booze, etc. People need to get over themselves. Shootings happen because of criminals and really bad mental health services.
ReplyDelete^^^The ammosexual crowd needs to realize that they are in the minority. The country wants meaningful gun reform and these companies aren’t dumb, they know who pay the bills. Every one with a modicum of intelligence is no longer accepting thoughts and prayers and buying the mental health excuse either!
ReplyDeleteNah. Selective and partisan media outrage isn't enough to overturn Constitutional rights, sorry.
Delete6:16 loud and obnoxious doesn't make the antigun scum the majority.
ReplyDeleteRecall Dicks did something similar...howd that work out? Most buy ammo in bulk on the internet, 1000 rounds of 556 for less than 300 bucks delivered to your door. Plenty of local gun shops for cash too.
ReplyDelete@7:18 and yet the Constitution does not guarantee your right to own a gun. Weird.
ReplyDeleteAnd yet it specifically and actually does. UBER WEIRD.
DeleteAnd yet it most certainly does not. Read it. Weird
ReplyDeleteYou clearly haven't. Right to keep and bear arms. You must think they're referring to spoons. Idiot.
DeleteThe Second Amendment of the United States Constitution reads: "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."
ReplyDeleteThose in a well regulated militia defending the state have the right to guns.
ReplyDeleteThe right as to it's purpose and "people" (militia) are very specifically addressed.
All others, sorry. Hunting rights? Nope. Self defense, not explicitly. Sorry again.
Thank you Charles.
Sorry, you're interpreting and not reading. A constitutional scholar you are not.
DeleteThe right to keep and bear arms by the people is clearly stated and separated in spirit and letter of the law.
Even if your ludicrous assertion were true, where's our militia?
Sure, because the founding fathers, living in a time when everyone had weapons for hunting and defense as well as for collective defense, decided to confiscate everyone's guns in 1781. That's what happened right?
DeleteWrong. The law does not exclude any right to bear arms, and in fact only recognizes what was a present reality at the time. Since no founding father or framer of the Constitution ever even suggested confiscating arms, your argument makes absolutely no sense.
