TKC SUNDAY SPECIAL!!! KANSAS CITY MUST REBUKE 'BIKE SUPREMACY' ON LOCAL STREETS AND AT CITY HALL!!!

A tragic trend among newly elected Kansas City leaders attacks the entirety of metro motorists for crimes they did not commit and seeks to champion a low tech conveyance that would make long daily commutes nearly impossible for most residents.

To wit . . .

THE "BIKE SUPREMACY" MOVEMENT CONFRONTS KANSAS CITY AND DEMANDS $400-MILLION TO SUBSIDIZE THE HOBBY OF A SMALL BUT VOCAL MINORITY!!!

It turns out residents are also battling this millennial trend in the Big Apple.

Here's a worthwhile explanation:

NY Post: ‘Bike supremacy’ is ruining the city

Check the money line confronting "Bike Supremacy" that sums things up perfectly and must be echoed in KCMO:

It’s an ideology, pure and simple — a faith in the moral inferiority of car and truck drivers, and in the moral virtue of cyclists.

That’s certainly how the bike-riders themselves view it: You can’t cross town without suffering cyclists’ contempt not just for motorists and pedestrians, but for anything and anyone who gets in their way.

That ideology has conned too many of the city’s leaders into handing over vast swathes of the city’s precious public space to a tiny minority of citizens — albeit an organized, and economically privileged, minority.

What the city really needs are leaders with the guts to stand up to the zealots and support the common good.

Closer to home, we see "bike supremacy" as the main driver behind the Bike KC "Master Plan" which demands $400-MILLION to further questionable transit aims and focus local government solely on promoting cycling when, in fact, Midtown confronts far more pressing problems. Sadly, the group's troubles on Armour Blvd have revealed their design skills lacking any coherence and endangering the public whilst eliciting complaints from neighbors.

Bike/Walk KC has ruined several local streets already and their "Bike Supremacy" tactics have ramped up now that the public has seen the slipshod nature of their handiwork and the viciousness of their attacks.

Cycling is a fun and healthy hobby but the fact remains that the overwhelming majority of workers and residents in the Kansas City metro rely on motor vehicles for transit in order to do their jobs, get to doctor's appointments and live their lives. The Bike/Walk KC tactic of accusing everyone behind the wheel of hate crimes is not only counterproductive to rational discourse but also a horrifically disingenuous tactic to promote questionable legislation.

Again, the public is slowly waking up and rejecting this ruthless rhetorical strategy that not only sparks greater division across the metro but also serves mostly to fuel the interests of a small sect of elite cycling adherents who have little regard for anyone outside of their upwardly mobile cabal of activist urban planners.

You decide . . .

  1. I think the "toxic driving culture" line was the last straw for most people. It's unfair to accuse everyone of hate just because they drive a car.

    1. I agree mostly but you need to go deeper with this KC.

      It's a typical liberal strategy.

Give up your guns, give up your cars and give up your speech. Do exactly what the elites tell you and support them with every ounce of your being and your wallet.

That's how they plan on winning in 2020 and that's why they need to be stopped.

  2. Roads were built for people not cars or bikes

  3. Bike "activists" are only about getting paid, they want KC money to line their pockets and boost their "non profit" organizations. That's the real scam.

  5. Sorry but I'm afraid of any master plan. No thanks.

  6. Bike Walk KC has twenty employees, mostly funded with our federal tax dollars. They are self-important, arrogant, and hate cars. Eric Bunch epitomizes their narrow simplistic approach to sharing the streets. Biking is good, but Bike Walk KC is an incestuous cult at tax payer expense.

  7. Bike supremacy? Bikers are flaming faggots so they can’t possibly be supreme, except at sucking dick. They’re homosexuals.

  8. sLIE allowed these people and developers to run this city into debt because of sLIE’s personal greed, all the clowncil and new mayor have to do is grow some balls and tell these people no, sLIE allowed these folks to think they have more power than anybody else. They don’t have any power but the clowncil is scared of them. I’m betting sLIE still has major influence over the Kansas City port authority who under him became the way for the developers to get cash from city hall. Kcpa is supposed to be in charge of barges and shipping, not giving money away through the back door to developers and friends. SHUT IT DOWN NOW.

  9. When the proverbial hit the fan over here in my neighborhood after the "plan" was announced, it was a broad spectrum of opposition. Liberals, conservatives, independents, Incas... everyone was against the visual pollution of our boulevards. Tyranny from the self-righteous should never succeed.

  17. Oh man. ‘Member that time when some police department in the Golden ghetto issued tickets to a bunch of elitist bicyclists for not stopping at a stop sign. Like 15-20 of the spandex clad, 2 wheeling, Lance Armstrong wannabes were ticketed. Funniest thing I ever read. Not to one up the rollin’ coal guy, but add a train horn in the mix. A brown lump appears like a Baby Ruth bar in them there shorty shorts.
