TKC MUST SEE!!! KANSAS CITY DEBUTS DOUBLE ELECTRIC BUS TEASE TODAY!!!

Kansas City's new electric bus has already been seen on local streets . . . A very smart TKC reader advises . . .

Kansas City is late to the table for electric buses but it's finally going to happen. Other cities have been launching electric buses for years. And unlike the archaic toy train which requires fixed rails driven into the concrete and ugly overhead wires above the street, electric buses require none of that nonsense.

Take a look:

Want a sneak peak at the latest innovation in our vehicle fleet? Electric buses will join the RideKC family next summer. On Sept. 10, you can get a look
@ 9 AM: RideKC, 1200 E. 18th Street, Kansas City, Mo.

9:30 AM: Union Station
10:15 AM: KCMO City Hall

KCATA purchased two of the zero-emissions battery electric buses. The new buses plug in to a charging station at KCATA and take less than 3 hours to charge. They can run 150 miles on a full charge. The demo bus will be at Union Station and City Hall for 30 minutes.

  1. Why buy these expensive busses? We're going to have toy trains everywhere.

  3. The city could purchase about 300 electric buses for the price of the toy train extension.

  4. I support electric buses... there are even electric busses that look like streetcars... let's just paint rails on the street and call it done.

  5. ^^^^ In all the comments on TKC about the toy train over the last several years, that is about the best idea ever! 9:07 for the win!

    Totally agree with 1:26 and 9:07 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And we can charge their batteries with electricity from the NEW GAY COMPANY "EVERGY". (What a fucking joke of a name. Even dumber than SPIRE.)

I wonder who sold THE GAS COMPANY & THE ELECTRIC COMPANY on the idea that new, idiotic names would somehow improve their businesses in some obscure way.

Do you think someone at KCP&L said "Wow, I wish we had a WOKE name like Spire!"
Then one of the gay guys shouted "EVERGY", and everyone creamed their jeans and headed for the Crossroads for rum and cokes.
