TKC FACT CHECK: HYPERLOOP TOY IN KANSAS CITY IS FOR IDIOTS!!!

Local simulation is nothing less than a pricey hype machine for a technology that doesn't even work yet. What's worse is that MSM "news" is actually billing it as a demonstration when, in fact, it's merely a glorified pitch for more tax dollars.

This is taxpayer scam promo and nothing less, newsies who don't call it out or at least give equal time to skeptics aren't doing "journalism" they're just marketing shills hired for their good looks . . . Thankfully, TKC is in no danger of that . . . Take a peek at the consumer power point deception:

Hyperloop test pod to be at World Series of Barbecue

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - If the idea of getting from Kansas City to St. Louis in a half-hour seems like science fiction, you can see the real Virgin Hyperloop One test pod at the Kansas Speedway on Saturday with a ticket to the American Royal World Series of Barbecue.

  1. The barbecue contest is a perfect place for this pig in a poke.
MoDot just closed a bridge over the Missouri today because it's unsafe and they don't have the funds to repair it until 2025.
And these clowns are talking about a couple billion for a toy like this?
If only KCMO hadn't wasted all that money on THE streetcar and committed more tax dollars as far as the eye can see.
Maybe Sly's "consulting firm" can help.
You really can't make this stuff up!

  2. The problem is the return trip to KCMO would be empty.

  5. Pothole season is just around the corner!! Cant wait to have my car beat to shit, while KCMO spends their money irresponsibly on things like street cars and the fire department! That closed bridge will be inviting for tax payers who are fed up with the stupid shit in this cow town to jump off of because in KCMO what you see is all you will ever get!!!!
