On Saturday, some local young people were trying to bring the violence to an end. One of the major topics of discussion during their meeting at the Kauffman Foundation was the youth.

  5. The American Royal has less barbecue teams competing now than when it was held in the West Bottoms (according to KCBS online results). How can the taxpayers of Kansas (me) be expected to subsidize some new construction project for a declining event. Weird.
